Color Study

This is my friend Katelyn. She happened to be wearing a purple hat at work that day, thus began my quest to study the color purple for this assignment.

I edited this photo by cropping a distracting yellow thing in the background out and adding some saturation to bring out the purple.

This is my aperture priority set to deep depth of field. The snow bank in the front left is in focus as well as the trees and houses in the very back.  I edited the levels to bring out the purple in the sky.

This is my aperture priority set to shallow to depth of field. My sweatshirt is focused while my shoes are out of focus. There is no editing in this photo.
